RESPECT YOUR SINCERITY
"for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." Philippians 2: 13 This Word helps us realize that we don't need to force anything. Rather, more than that, we need to RESPECT our inner will. How many times we want to say yes and we say no? Or the contrary? How many times we act forcibly when what we want is to hide in God and have some time for ourselves? Or we want to take action but we feel fear and do not do it? If God is who works in us both to will and to do, this means that we must act according to our will. Of course, this Word is not saying that we must always do our will and ignore the voice of God or disobey Him. But how many times we can't do something we really want for not respecting and obeying our will? Or how many times we do something and regret because it was not quite what we wanted to do?
