Son, a condition. Servant, a calling.

Image
I have had some believers and even American pastors telling me that we are not servants but children or friends, I have also heard that servant is a level before becoming a friend of God. But what they believe and teach is a knowledge of someone who has never been a servant. Of someone who did not enter the calling of serving God. To serve God is a calling. To become able of being a channel of God we must have completely died. We become a vessel. A vessel is useless unless it carries something useful and carries this something from one place to another. But if the vessel keeps aguing and do not want to carry anything, it's because it is not a vessel yet, but clay. A vessel has been sanctified. A servant is a vessel. He died to himself and now lives only for God. He lives to serve God. Of course that servants are children of God. Children of God is a condition. It is the condition which everyone who believes in God enters. Now, to be a servant, the person will have to go t...

Why did Jesus die?

Image
Jesus dying for us is not like a common man dying for others. Because He is God and He gave His life for us so that we receive His life. Without receiving life we continue spiritually dead. With His death, He bought our lives from the hands of the devil. (I'm going to explain this further) But it's not that simple, there is a condition for us to receive the life that is in Jesus, and that condition is to believe in Him and to accept Him in our lives. When we do that, His life enters us and we receive life. Because without that we are spiritually dead. To be spiritually dead is like being really dead because we don't have access to heaven nor to the wisdom and love coming from God. Jesus died to buy humanity from the hands of satan. Humanity went into the hands of satan when Adam and Eve obeyed him in the Eden at the beginning of the world. God had communion and intimacy with them and warned them about the danger of disobeying Him. They ig...

GOD HONORS OUR DECISION

Image
I remember when I used to take the bus and hated it, and one day I looked at the bus and said: Starting today I'm never taking a bus again. I made that decision.  I didn't know how what was going to happen but I knew I was very serious. God was hearing me and taking my decision seriously and starting on that day I never took a bus again. I don't have a car but I take the taxi. I remember in the past when I used to smoke and on the last day of the year, I made the decision: Starting on the first day of this year I'm never smoking again. I never smoked again. Because that decision was serious and strong. It was a DECISION. How many things aren't happening in our lives for lack of decision? Or, how many things are happening for lack of deciding that they won't happen anymore? There is power in the decision. God honors our decision. We don't have to know how just make the decision. With seriousness. Making the decision knowing that God is heari...

Revelation VS Reason

Image
Reason is everything that makes sense. We see a situation and what is making sense becomes our conclusion, our answer, our solution. But the Revelation from God is what is hidden behind everything we see, it's what He sees. That's His Voice, that's the Truth. That's why we must always seek for the revelation of the situation and never believe in what we see or what is making sense. Proverbs 23: 23 "Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Also wisdom and instruction and understanding." Sometimes it's difficult to wait for what He said it's going to happen because the "reality" of what we see hits us in the chest. And that's when the enemy attacks. So during these times, we must be diligent in our seeking for His Voice so we don't get confused and discouraged. His Truth is so much higher than our thoughts. We must dedicate ourselves to hearing Him, asking questions and hearing the answers. And during the difficult times, we must be caref...
