Be still

"For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of  Israel:
"In returning and rest you shall be saved;
In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."
But you would not," Isaiah 30: 15

Sometimes we are restless trying to seek a direction, something seems wrong, we pray, we seek God, but that agitation in our interior doesn't leave.
That's when God says: Be still.
Be quiet. In rest, in the stillness, in the quietness and trust is your salvation.

What God says is many times the contrary of what the world says.
The world has a constant charge of something to do, of occupying yourself, of occupying your time, like if there is no time to lose.

But God wants us to quiet ourselves.

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'" Psalm 46: 10

Quiet yourself. Seek to hear God's voice because it is what gives rest to our souls. Open the Bible and seek to hear God's voice.

When our strength is little, the best thing to do is to be still, even if this means to lay on your bed and be still praying or resting doing nothing. Your soul will quiet if you do that.

Often times, when we are restless it is difficult to be quiet, but that's what God tells us to do.

"Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him.
For the help of His countenance." Psalm42: 5

That's how He restores us and talk to us, in the stillness.

Nothing strengthens the soul more than hearing God speak. And if you are reading this message, God is saying to you: "Be sill, be quiet." "Trust Me." "I know what I am doing." "I am working in your situation."

God is calling you to stop everything and have a quiet time with Him. To quiet your soul.
