Under the shadow of wisdom

In the Portuguese translation, Ecclesiastes 7: 12 says:

"For wisdom serves as a shadow, like as a shadow serves money; but the excellence of wisdom is that it gives life to its possessor."

Apostle Sergio Lopes says that wisdom is knowing what to do, how to do it, and when to do it.

When you feel anxious, afraid, in doubt, or powerless, enter under the shadow of wisdom.

Instead of looking for something or someone to supply your needs or your lacks, use wisdom as a refuge.

Entering under the shadow of wisdom doesn't mean to harden your heart or pretend you are powerful.
It's to enter inside understanding. It's to enter inside what God has said. What you already know as truth.

When you feel agitated, afraid, mistrusting or insecure, ask this question: "Where is the shadow of wisdom so I can enter under it"?

Maybe that shadow is in trust, maybe it is in silence, maybe in courage, maybe in prayer, it's in something that will bring you peace.

Sometimes we should stop doing something, sometimes we should do it.
Sometimes we should speak, sometimes we should be quiet.

Sometimes we should be vulnerable, sometimes we should guard ourselves.

Finding the shadow of wisdom is very important in our daily lives.

Knowing what to do, how to do it and when to do it is the key to turn our souls into the right direction avoiding pain, anguish, and anxiety.

Wisdom is a shield that helps you to know when to take action and what kind of action.

"But judgment will return to righteousness,
And all the upright in heart will follow it."

Psalm 94: 15

When you feel that you just can't find that shadow, open the Word and ask His help.
When we lack wisdom, there's nothing better than consulting the Lord.

"He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he."

Proverbs 16: 20

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

Psalm 91: 1
