The Wonderful Door

Because I've been making many friends who are not believers, I decided to write this message to you guys, since most of the messages I write are not so easy to understand for being focused more on those who are already believers.

I want to talk about a Door that the Bible talks about. One of its names is Wonderful.

It is a Door that is Wonderful. Because it takes us out of a situation of darkness, where we cannot see well, a situation of oppression, of hopelessness, lack of strength, lack of vision, lack of purpose, and takes us to a place of victory, of abundance, of life, renewal, and relief.

It is a Door of exit and of an entrance. It is a door that takes us out of a situation, of a place, and brings us to another place.

How many times have we desired that a door like that would exist? Yes, it does exist.

How many times have we desired to have our life changed, transformed? Or to sleep and wake up another person, as if we were borning again? As if what is old would stay behind and everything was made new?

These are the things that happen when entering through this door.

This is a secret of many believers, that we keep at the bottom of our hearts, because it is a secret that was revealed to us. This secret gives us the power to access this Door when we need to.

The king Nebuchadnezzar, which was a very powerful king in the past, recognized that God is a God who reveals secrets when prophet Daniel received the revelation of a secret from God to the king:

"The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.”"
Daniel 2: 47

This Door is accessed by faith. When you believe in the Door, you have the choice of entering it or not.

So where is this door? It's spiritual.

"Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
Luke 17: 20-21

The kingdom of God within us doesn't mean that everybody has access to it. it means only that it is spiritual and accessed by faith and revelation.

The Bible also says that this door is the truth. Here is a great key.

Only through the truth, we have access to the other side of the Door, which is the side I mentioned, of victory, abundance, peace, joy, true life.

But what does that mean? It means that without living in the truth we don't have access to these things.

Living in the truth means to be able to bring out the truth of our heart. Not only with words, but with attitudes.

I started with words when I found this out. I started using words to fight against myself, expressing my heart. Speaking the truth. To fight against myself in the sense of being able to know, identify and surpass the barriers that kept me hidden inside myself. Causing me to use an external protection that I didn't even know it was there.

The only sure I had was that I wanted to be surrounded by love. I wanted love. Something that was scarce in my life and where I lived. I'm not talking about romantic love, of couples, but love really.

And when I started to find out about this Door in the Bible, I found out that this Door is the truth, and it is also the way to find love. This Door is true life.

This may sound strange, true life, how? So are people not living? Aren't they alive?

When I asked this question, I found out in the Bible that no. That the people who know this door have passed from death to life. They were like dead but didn't know.

Their spirit was dead before the Door. What brings them to feel that all days are the same, that the days are dull and life like a prison.

But once they receive life, they receive the gift of having their thoughts renewed every day, the gift of reaching an advance and a daily transformation that bring us to more and more light. More and more relief, freedom, newness.

At this point you must be asking: So what's the price to access this Door? To enter through it?

Nothing. Jesus already paid the price on the cross. This right that the Door gives us access was bought by Jesus. By the price of blood.

The condition to receive this door is faith. A faith that causes you to surrender the control that you hold with your hands or with your heart.

To access this door is necessary to give your life to God.

What does this mean?

It means that you believe and trust Him to the point of letting Him conduct your life. Letting His Word exercise influence in your heart. Letting Him guide you with love. Giving your fear to Him.

Maybe you think: But I don't want to become a believer nor read the Bible.

That's ok. But God continues to be God there in heaven waiting you allow Him to help you.

This has nothing to do with becoming a religious person, it has to do with faith.
That's why I'm talking about this door and not of churches.
A believer is a name given to those who believe. A believer means that the person believes, has faith.
People with faith in God have always existed since the beginning of the world, but the first believers were the first ones to get to know the Door.

This door is a new way that was opened by God to set free, save and bring a new life to people.

I'm writing about that in this message because you are not a believer and maybe you don't even like believers, so I am sharing something that has nothing to do with religion. Because I want you to know that there are spiritual things that have nothing to do with churches. Accessible things to whoever wants them.

Evangelical Churches are just places where we talk about the door. But you don't need a church to access it. You only need to want it.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.
Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them.

The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.

I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.
As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”
John 10: 1-18

If you felt the desire to know Jesus in a more personal way, you can make a prayer right there where you are. I will help you:

"God, I found all that too weird, but I confess that I am a little bit curious to get to know this door, which is Jesus.

I really want a new life, where everything will be made new each day, where I won't be stuck on boredom and monotony anymore.

A life where I will have the power to change everything through my faith, where my desires and requests will be attended by You, God.

Give me this condition, this right. I want to have access to these renewals and reliefs. Where I will receive abundance of life, where You will guide me in all truth.

Show me about this, give me this revelation, so that I may really understand and choose the life I want to have. So that I may know if I want to enter by this door or not.

Show me this door, let me know it. Show me Jesus. I give you my fear and I decide to trust You, in Jesus Name, Amen."
