Your incredulity does not affect the working of God

God is sovereign. Everything He decides is decided. Everything He decrees is decreed.

Job went through a situation of decay and deep incredulity to the point of desiring death and crying out for it. He even got mad at God for not taking his life. This did not affect in anything the blessing of God. It did not affect God's goodness. It did not affect the will of God for Job's life.

Nothing nor anything has the power to affect the goodness of God. He is what He Is, and no one changes that.

I've heard two people preaching that the only one who can block God's actions for your life is yourself. I do not agree with that. Can we control God now?
Who are we to block God's actions?

There is no way to block God's actions from under the sky to above it. The only way would be from above to under it and there is no one above God, so it can't be done.

There is nothing we can do to block God's actions. Could Jonah do it? Who can hold the wind? Who can avoid a Tsunami from happening?
Who can put the Glory of God in a little box?
No one can block God's actions. If God wants to bless you He will.

Job could not block God's actions. He didn't get the death he desired. Instead of that, he was greatly blessed. It was that what he wanted? No.
It was that what he believed? No.

"I know that You can do everything,
And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You."
Job 42: 2

None of God's purposes can be withheld from Him. In the Portuguese translation, it reads: "no thought of Yours".

If none of His thoughts can be blocked, then there is nothing and no one who can block God's actions. God is not limited. God is not hit by us. Our incredulity does not affect Him, it does not change Him.

A Promise of God cannot be blocked. A Promise is the thought of God.
Not even us can block it.

He changes our heart, He works in us. He is more powerful than us.

So what is my conclusion?

Is it a crappy situation? Is it hard? Rest.
Leave it in God's hands.

Your incredulity won't change anything.
You don't need to pretend you have faith right now.

Let the thing roll. You don't have any power over the thing, so rest, give up.

You don't have faith? Trust.
Trust that letting the situation go will take you to the next phase of the change you've been longing so much.

"Who among you fears the LORD?
Who obeys the voice of His Servant?
Who walks in darkness
And has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the LORD
And rely upon his God."
Isaiah 50: 10

It's not necessary to happen exactly what you want for the change to come. God might be willing to move you into a new, unexpected, unknown situation.

When we let go of the situation we enter in the wind of God.
And who controls the wind is God.

And this wind is very renewing and it brings surprises, but without entering it how are we going to experience them?

"For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense,
But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it."
Ecclesiastes 7: 12

Even if your situation is extremely important to you, only letting it go a little and entering the wind of God, God will be able to remove the dust that is blocking you from seeing well, and the more you take action without seeing well, the less power you have over the situation.

So it's better to enter the wind, to let the wind move you, and then you will know exactly what is going on, what God is trying to say, or what you are not seeing.

In the world, we hear: "Give time to time."
Here I'm saying: "Enter the wind of God."
It is different.
In the wind of God only enters who walks with the Holy Spirit.

There is a total renewal for those who enters in the wind that is made by the Holy Spirit.

The determined time for things to happen is under the control of God. The circumstances don't influence the time of God, but the time of God is behind the circumstances.

Incredulous and wicked people who do not believe in God don't affect who God is. God does not stop existing because of an atheist. God does not stop being God because of an evil man.
So imagine a child of God, His servant, who is without faith in a situation... God doesn't stop being faithful because of our weaknesses and incredulity.
He searches for us, He saves us from situations.

Of course faith moves mountains. But the lack of faith doesn't block God from moving the mountain for you.
It was Him who chose us. He who saved us.

Jesus healed that man who was waiting for someone to take him to the pool when the water was stirred up so he could be healed. Even without believing in Jesus, who was in front of him. (John 5: 7-8)

So have hope. Soon you will come with your head out of those waters and you will be able to breathe again. God is working, He is preparing the ground for you to step on.

"Who is blind but My servant,
Or deaf as My messenger whom I send?
Who is blind as he who is perfect,
And blind as the LORD's servant?"
Isaiah 42: 19
