The importance of excellence
"Do you see a man who excels in his work?
He will not stand before unknown men."
Proverbs 22: 29Let's be honest, who doesn't want to be among kings? Who doesn't want to be put before kings?
In this verse we see that the one who is diligent in what he does will be put by God before kings, God will not put him before unknown men.
What is to be diligent? Is to have excellence in what you do.
Just as someone who works with any career as someone who works for God need to have excellence in what he does to be on the level of consideration by God. To call God's attention and be put by Him before kings.
Sometimes we stop having excellence in everything for not seeing the purpose of that or not seeing or receiving a reward, but excellence makes you reach greater goals than the planned ones.
What is excellence?
Is to do your best and then after almost ready improve it way more.
Excellence is not doing what we can but doing the best we can that we don't know we can.
Excellence is to overcome all the levels of laziness until reaching the "easy" that we didn't know it would be easy before reaching it.
Excellence is connected also to authenticity and sincerity.
Excellence is connected also to authenticity and sincerity.
Everything that has vestiges of fakeness, laziness, lack of will, lack of elaboration (because there wasn't authenticity in the person's will when doing it) has a lack of quality and consequently is far from excellence.
Excellence is the fruit of wisdom.
"And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,
Excellence is the fruit of wisdom.
"And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,
the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers and their apparel, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit in her."
2 Chronicles 9: 3-4
Note in this Word above that Solomon dressed his servants with excellence.
2 Chronicles 9: 3-4
Note in this Word above that Solomon dressed his servants with excellence.
He honored his servants and there was nothing that Solomon didn't put excellence in.
Wisdom comes from the heart. Not from the mind.
"And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart."
2 Chronicles 9: 23
That's the reason why everyone who allows the Word of God to transform their hearts reaches wisdom.
But how many wise believers there are who are not putting excellence in everything they do...
There is a way to put excellence in what we do even when we don't have all the adequate conditions that we dream of.
And this way is thinking that we are excellent and that we can do it with excellence.
It is thinking that people deserve excellence, honoring people, your boss, your King (Jesus, in my case).
Honoring your subordinates as well.

Feeding and giving the needed supplies so that people grow and become better.
Even without conditions to do like we would desire to do certain things, we can do them with excellence.
Even without conditions to do like we would desire to do certain things, we can do them with excellence.
Because excellence doesn't mean to be equal or better than the best.
excellence means to be useful to God.
Excellence is important because it carries the Glory of God.
Excellence is important because it carries the Glory of God.
Lack of excellence does not bring life, change, nor transformation.
That means that everything we don't put excellence is useless.
May we analyze all the areas of everything we do and reinvigorate the things that are dead, useless or without shine.
God wants us to prepare ourselves for the best. Not only to receive the best but to deserve the best.
To get ready to welcome the best with honor, dignity, and excellence.
"Look among the nations and watch -
"Look among the nations and watch -
Be utterly astounded!
For I will work a work in your days
Which you would not believe, though it were told you."
Habakkuk 1: 5
God is doing with excellence.

God is doing with excellence.
Let's be His children?
Throw the trash out, the "more or less". Do only with excellence. Choose the best every time you have to make a choice. Use discernment. Separate the precious from the vile, knowing the difference and acting accordingly.
