2 Secrets to be blessed by God

I've found two things that make God bless us, and not just that, but that fills us with power, revelation, the Presence of God and make our heart straighter.

First: To take refuge in God.

When we take refuge in God, He cleanses us of useless and mundane things that "stick" on us once in a while.
Besides that, our focus stays in Him and our mind and thoughts are filtered, that is, everything that is not coming from God leaves.

When we take refuge in God He fights the wars that we are not being able to win.
He also brings us rest, quietness and renewal.

When we take refuge in God we become protected from attacks of the enemy. We get protected from situations that are not being beneficial to us, or that are harming us.

When we take refuge in God we get our self-control restored.
We invite wisdom to enter. And we don't get influenced any more by emotions, thoughts or people that distract us from the voice of God.

I already noticed that when I take refuge in God I can have my perspective more aligned with the perspective of God and I see better wrong perspectives. Or I can see that certain perspective that I was having was actually wrong.

To take refuge in God is like going to the top of a mountain and observing everything from far away, being able to have a better discernment and sharpness.

When we take refuge in God we give time and priority to Him and He turns Himself to us.
Besides that, we have our fear of Him restored, which fixes our vision and delivers us from evil.

When we take refuge in God we are able to what He's been trying to tell us but we haven't been being able to notice or listen.

Second: To obey and honor the commandments.

Even if we already obey the commandments, when we resolve to honor and go even deeper in them, that is, to practice them in a deeper way, God gets filled with love for us and overflows blessings to us.

For instance, to honor father and mother. When we resolve to practice that in a deeper way or with more diligence and attention, it's impressive how God gets pleased. And He rewards it right away. It's not that He rewards it, but His heart falls in love for us and blessings escape His sleeves.

When we are a little disobedient to the commandments and we resolve to obey them, we enter the Purpose of God for our lives and our vision and hearts are restored.

Sometimes we can obey the commandments related to the Promises even before they come to reality.

For example, to be faithful to your spouse.
Even still being single we can be faithful to what God said instead of having emotional connections or even date, people who are not who God said.

Ultimately, you know what are the commandments you can follow better and practice with more attitude.

Conclusion:

The fear of God is the highest level of wisdom we can reach. There is no wisdom outside the fear of God.

When we fear and respect Him, open to hearing Him with reverence, the greater benefited are us.

"Though he who is wise may be profitable to himself."
Job 22: 2b
