God establishes the times

How many things don't happen at the moment we want them to happen? How difficult it is to deal with this lack of control of ours!

But God really is the head of all and there is nothing to be done besides submitting to Him when it comes to the timing of events.

Job couldn't get rid of that terrible situation at the time he wanted to. God had a determined time for that.

When God is delaying it's not that he is evil and wants to see us suffer, but that He simply has the times determined by Himself.
We suffer for lack of surrender, trust and lack of opening the heart.

And also for deficiency in understanding the purpose of that delay.

He created the world in 7 days. Why not in 1 day? Because He determines a time for each thing He does.

For that reason, we often have the sensation of loss of control, impatience or revolt because of the delaying of a Promise.

But we see in the whole Bible God talking about times.

So there is no use to keep crying and throwing tantrums. The best thing to do is to understand the reason it's not the time of a certain thing so that we may focus on what matters.

"To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
"

Ecclesiastes 3: 1

Are you like me and gets a little bit annoyed when you read that verse while seeking God?

Hum-hum. I go seek Him because of not being able to bear anymore to wait for something and He tells me that.

In other words, there is no use to want to be in control because that is not in our hands.

It is Him who determines the times of things, the determined time for a certain thing to happen.

Do you know why? Because God is organized.

When it's Him who is doing something He does it right.

It may not be the time yet because He is molding, changing or transforming us.

But who has the patience to not be in control of a situation and have to wait for the time of God?

So here I am writing about my revolt to share with you what I learned with all that...

I learned that to have a head to submit is actually, a rest.

Sometimes us women lose ourselves in our emotions, anxieties, and afflictions, and, when we submit to our husband it's so relieving!!!

So with God, we should feel that too. If you are a man, this illustration may help you.

Our head brings us safety, rest, direction, maturity and He roots us in a solid soil for our feet to stand.

The fact that the times are established by Him and not by us should bring us only wonderful sensations and not revolt and pride.

We should know how to enjoy the time that antecedes the timing of the event that we are waiting for without hardening our hearts.
Instead, with an open heart to the freedom brought by the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Yes. There is a freedom to be found when submitting to the Head.

"Happy is the man who is always reverent,
But he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.
"

Proverbs 28: 14

Sometimes we get afflicted and distressed simply because of lack of submission. For hardening ourselves.

What causes the hardening is pride. The desire to want to control. And in that, we exterminate our sensation of peace and freedom.

The flowing of the Holy Spirit happens where there are humility and an open heart.

So I want to encourage you:

Let God win.

At this moment, submit to the working of God and accept the fact that there is a determined time by Him which is not in your control.

Understand that there is a purpose for that delay.
The less resistance, the more this purpose will be coming true.

Just surrender.

Surrender the control. Take a deep breath and accept it.

He is organizing everything. He is skillful.

The peace and the rest are in submitting.

"Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
"

Psalm 148: 8
