How many things don't happen at the moment we want them to happen? How difficult it is to deal with this lack of control of ours! But God really is the head of all and there is nothing to be done besides submitting to Him when it comes to the timing of events. Job couldn't get rid of that terrible situation at the time he wanted to. God had a determined time for that.  When God is delaying it's not that he is evil and wants to see us suffer, but that He simply has the times determined by Himself. We suffer for lack of surrender, trust and lack of opening the heart. And also for deficiency in understanding the purpose of that delay. He created the world in 7 days. Why not in 1 day? Because He determines a time for each thing He does. For that reason, we often have the sensation of loss of control, impatience or revolt because of the delaying of a Promise. I remember when I started reading the evangelical Bible and I desired to meet Jesus. I remember when I read this Word: " Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me . " John 14: 6 I kept thinking: "Ok Jesus, I understood. I do want these things and mostly to go to the Father. But how do I do to go to You? To find You? So that I may then get to the Father? So I resolved to read this verse more and more until I understand it. Then something came to my mind: "He is saying that He is the truth." So I think that if I walk in the truth I'll be able to get closer to Him. So the first thing I realized I needed to do was to stop lying.  So there I went to tell my boyfriend at the time that I went on a date with someone else since I didn't really like him and that I had found out that he had another girlfriend. All of us have moments of these two revelations. The revelation of the fear : When we have revelations coming from fear, we may think, sometimes, that it is God who is revealing them or the enemy or that we are going crazy. But the truth is that we are full of fear. And that fear deceives us. It deceives our emotions in such a way that it affects our thoughts, perceptions, impressions, sureties and it makes us forget all the revelations and Promises that God already gave to us. That fear gives us revelations. And sometimes that happens reading the Word. We read something that fills us with bad thoughts. It's not that God is revealing something bad, it's that we are full of fear. Of course that sometimes God does reveal something bad, but even when He does it, it doesn't give us fear. When we feel fear it isn't God speaking. The difficulty is, sometimes, to be able to identify that we are afraid. Because often the fear is disguised and it looks like we are ...

I've found two things that make God bless us, and not just that, but that fills us with power, revelation, the Presence of God and make our heart straighter. First : To take refuge in God. When we take refuge in God, He cleanses us of useless and mundane things that "stick" on us once in a while. Besides that, our focus stays in Him and our mind and thoughts are filtered, that is, everything that is not coming from God leaves. When we take refuge in God He fights the wars that we are not being able to win. He also brings us rest, quietness and renewal. When we take refuge in God we become protected from attacks of the enemy. We get protected from situations that are not being beneficial to us, or that are harming us. When we take refuge in God we get our self-control restored. We invite wisdom to enter. And we don't get influenced any more by emotions, thoughts or people that distract us from the voice of God.
